Description

The City of Sycamore is a member of the DeKalb Area Transportation Study. The group receives an annual allocation of Surface Transportation Funds also known as STU Funding. The City of Sycamore has secured $656,250 in STU funding for FY 2024. Eighty-percent of this value will be funded by STU, with the 20% local match using local funding. Improvements include ADA sidewalk improvements as well as mill and overlay of the existing roadway. There are no proposed changes in geometrics. The project limits are Somonauk Street from Conlin Avenue north to High Street. This is a request for qualifications and sealed proposals for consulting engineering services related to the proposed 2024 STU Project. The project includes 1.15 Miles of Mill and Overlay along with ADA sidewalk improvements.
