Description

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Project Number: 0234025.03, 188024.00 (18173) Miller Street, Cross Street and Furnace Avenue (MCF) Area Flood Control Project. Removal and disposal of existing drainage infrastructure, clearing and grubbing, full depth pavement reconstruction, mill and overlay, trenching, bituminous and concrete sidewalk removal and installation, remove and reset vertical granite curb, removal and replacement of existing culvert, security fence and gate, installation of a pump station, transformer vault, generator, force main, catch basins, manholes, drainage pipe, water quality units, water main improvements, gas line, electrical improvements, access drive, paving, pavement markings, bituminous driveway, bioretention basin, stone diaphragm, plunge pool, wetland replication, revegetation. The Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the removal and disposal of existing drainage infrastructure, clearing and grubbing, full depth pavement reconstruction, mill and overlay, trenching, bituminous and concrete sidewalk removal and installation, remove and reset vertical granite curb, removal and replacement of existing culvert, security fence and gate, installation of a pump station, transformer vault, generator, force main, catch basins, manholes, drainage pipe, water quality units, water main improvements, gas line, electrical improvements, access drive, paving, pavement markings, bituminous driveway, bioretention basin, stone diaphragm, plunge pool, wetland replication, revegetation and all materials, equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. o There is an open work order with National Grid for the utility connection for the pump station. o The Furnace Brook Restoration Project must be completed prior to the pump station being put online. o The Contractor is responsible for coordinating with the Quincy Police Department to develop a vehicular and pedestrian traffic control plan. o Note that an easement has been obtained at 107 Cross Street for the proposed stormwater pipe, force main and culvert replacement work.
