Description | Cornell Agriculture and Food Technology Park Food Processing and Manufacturing Facility - Package II A. Cornell Agriculture and Food Technology Park Food Processing and Manufacturing Facility 1. The 20,000 square foot building is to be a pre-engineered metal building having the following features: a. Associated Site and Green Infrastructure. b. The pre-engineered building is assumed to include insulated metal panels and roof systems to meet the requirements of the current NYS Energy code. The pre-engineered metal building is to be manufactured by a nationally recognized company, like CECO, Nucor, or approved equal. c. A primary common entrance (Main Entry) is to be integrated into the design of the pre-engineered building. This entrance is estimated to be situated on the West facade of the pre-engineered building. d. The package II scope of work does not includes the following: 1) Pre-engineered building structure 2) Exterior metal panel wall and insulation 3) Roof system and insulation 4) Loading dock 5) Mechanical room e. The package II scope of work includes the following: 1) Common lobby 2) Common Men's and Women's bathroom facilities meeting NYS building code requirements for fixture count and accessibility requirements. 3) Janitor's closet including storage. All questions prior to bid opening must be received by the close of business on July 7th, 2023. Questions shall be directed to Michael Trapanovski at Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors & Landscape Architect, DPC at email trapanovskim@hunt-eas.com. This project is funded in part by the Economic Development Administration of the US Department of Commerce, and Empire State Development and contracts will be in accordance with all requirements of those agencies. Davis-Bacon Act and other standard federal employment requirements will apply, in addition to an M/WBE participation goal of at least $150,000 in contracting and/or subcontracting. All Prime Contract Bidders who have paid the aforesaid deposit for an entire set of Bidding and Contract Documents and have submitted a bid with required bid security; and return such sets to Dataflow Inc. Rochester office in GOOD CONDITION within thirty (30) calendar days after the award of contract or rejection of bids, shall receive a refund of the full amount of such deposit. Any NON-BIDDER may be refunded his deposit only upon returning plans and specifications PRIOR to the bid opening. Postage and HANDLING are NOT REFUNDABLE. |
