Colley Street Improvements and 3rd Street Reconstruction Projects

Work will be contained to both Colley Street and 3rd Street located in Benton Borough and will consist of the following: Benton Borough intends to undertake improvements to Colley Street to include the installation of 4 new 2`x4` catch basins and 300 LF of 15" ADS pipe, inlet adjustment at the intersection of 3rd Street and Colley, removal of an abandoned railroad bed (50`x25`) and replace with compacted 2RC and regrade, replacement of pipe on inlet with 100 LF of 18" ADS pipe and adjust grate (East end of Colley), and cold pave its entire length. Benton Borough intends to undertake improvements to 3rd Street to include bituminous repair in areas of need, new piping and type c inlet boxes to be installed, tying into the existing drainage system, and roadway surface milling to be completed the length of the identified project area (North Street to Colley Street)
