Description | ** As of January 20, 2023, the bids were over budget No definite date for the rebid.** For the construction of the following Project: Sanitation Parking Building This project includes the construction of a parking building consisting of an in-ground concrete foundation, wooden frame, and preformed metal panel roof and walls. The building will be enclosed on three sides and open on one side. The building will consist of 16 bays, each with a minimum, unobstructed inside dimension of 14 wide, 14 high, and 80 deep. A pre-bid conference for the Project will NOT be held. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Chubbuck as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. he successful bidder must have a public works construction license pursuant to Idaho Code Title 54, Chapter 19, prior to entering into the contract. The City of Chubbuck reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Chubbuck.
