Description

All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the words CLEANING & TV INSPECTION OF SEWERS 2022 2024. Bid proposals must be addressed to the Township of North Bergen, 4233 Kennedy Boulevard, North Bergen, New Jersey 07047, Attention: Purchasing Agent. Delivery of bids must be in person, by overnight courier, or by mail. No bids will be accepted if they arrive after the date and time specified above. Bids for said contract must be based upon and in strict accordance with the aforesaid specifications. Bidders must present a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate prior to the award of the contract if it is not submitted with the bid. All bids must be stated in words and figures and proposals must be made on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and required by specifications. All bids must be submitted on forms for that purpose to be obtained from Purchasing Agent. All Contracts will be on standard form contracts which are available for inspection in the Law Department. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Township of North Bergen reserves the right to waive informalities on bids and to reject any and all bids, if deemed in the best interest of the Township to do so. DUE TO COVID-19, BE ADVISED THAT ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL BE PICKING UP A BID SPECIFICATION AND/OR ATTENDS THE BID OPENING IS REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES WILL BE IN PLACE. ALL VISITORS WILL BE SCREENED UPON ENTRY, INCLUDING A TEMPERATURE CHECK. ENTRY TO THE BUILDING IS LIMITED TO ONE DOOR LOCATED ON THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING. THE FRONT AND REAR ENTRANCES WILL BE LOCKED AND ARE FOR EMPLOYEE USE ONLY. Since the Contractor will work on an on-call basis for a period of two (2) years, no specific date of completion for the work has been established. The Contractor will be required to complete the work in accordance with the General Conditions of the Contract.
