Description | All bids are to be submitted via email only. Contract Administrator: E. Aguilar|E-mail: eaguilar@nycsca.org. Performance Period: 540 Continuous Calendar Days Liquidated Damages: Two Thousand ($2,000) Dollars per Continuous Calendar Day and as set forth in the Construction Contract Page CC-3 and Appendix B The Contractor shall make and demonstrate good faith efforts to achieve the SCA's goal that a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of all subcontracted work be performed by SCA and/or New York City ("City") certified minority, women and/or local based enterprises (MWLBEs). The Work shall be as described in the Contract Documents. 1. Protect existing photovoltaic (PV) arrays with temporary plywood protection barriers near areas of work. Remove and support-in-place PV conduits mounted to the inside of the parapets to be removed and other work areas as needed. All PV panels to be maintained and fully operational at all times. 2. Support in place existing wall mounted equipment in areas of work. 3. Remove, protect, store and reinstall identified exterior mounted security lighting fixtures with new conduit and wiring back to existing panel in cellar. 4. Remove parapet (brick masonry, coping stones, cornice panels and all accessories down to the steel or concrete supporting the parapet. 5. Removal of face brick down to lintel / shelf angle above top floor windows. 6. Cleaning and repair of exposed window lintels / shelf angles and installation of new flashing with end dams. 7. Rebuilding of face brick and parapets with control joints where indicated. 8. Replacement of corner face brick. 9. Protect and maintain NIC roof mounted equipment. 10. All window air conditioners to be protected from dust and debris from construction operations and be left usable for school use any time construction is not taking place. |
