Description

To operates 90 water well sites, which have a producing capacity of 118 million gallons per day of water. This water system services approximately 76,000 customer locations or 280,000 people. The treatment plant is separated into two (2) locations. The Sutter treatment plant (primary) provides pumping, screening, solids removal, grit removal, clarification, sludge digestion, seepage receiving, and solids drying and handling. The Jennings treatment plant (secondary) provides further biological treatment through bioreactors, facultative ponds, recirculation channels, filtration through membrane bioreactors, UV disinfection facilities, chlorination/de-chlorination facilities, many pumping facilities and pipelines, and water wells.
