In general the work consists of replacement of sealant joints between precast concrete components as well as between precast components and brick masonry on floors 2-10. The entirety of the precast and masonry components shall be cleaned on floors 2-10 upon completion of sealant replacement. A separate project may be ongoing in which coordination efforts shall be taken to ensure the smooth operation for both projects. This project shall tie-in as seamlessly as possible to exterior sealant work completed by separate contractor on the 1st and 11th 48 floors of the building as part of other project. Representatives from the A/Es office will be available to take questions for answer in addendum. Prospective bidders are asked to familiarize themselves with the project documents and requirements prior to the conference and walkthrough.
