| Description | The Surface Water Treatment Plant (SWTP) features eight (8) Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Contactors that require ongoing maintenance to remove used media (GAC) and replace with Virgin (newly manufactured) or Reactivated GAC. Work Included: This is a comprehensive service contract. The Supplier shall perform all work necessary utilizing industry acceptable practices governed by standards which are referenced herein and in conformance to all state and federal regulations. Tasks are required and include, but are not limited to the following: Remove used media (GAC). Transport used media offsite. Delivering and offloading new or acceptable reactivated replacement media (GAC). Installing replacement media. |
