Description | Submit the requested number of Statements of Qualifications (Form F110-330) directly to Anthony Cowden at anthony.cowden@cincinnatistate.edu. See Section J of this RFQ for additional submittal instructions. Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Anthony Cowden at anthony.cowden@cincinnatistate.edu with the project number included in the subject line (no phone calls please). Questions will be answered and posted to the Opportunities page on the OFCC website at http://ofcc.ohio.gov on a regular basis until one week before the response deadline. The name of the party submitting a question will not be included on the Q&A document. The purpose of this project is to perform a design of replacement of the ATLC roof located on the Clifton Campus at 3520 Central Parkway, Cincinnati, OH 45223,. The design scope will also include exploring alternative roofing types and material with cost/benefit analysis. Services include delivery of construction documents for construction of the ATLC roof replacement project to be completed 2022 or 2023 (based on contractor and supply availability. The tentative schedule is as follows: Design/construction document phase June/July 2022; bidding anticipated to be August 2022; construction to commence based on contractor/supply availability, The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss and clarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the Architect/Engineer Agreement detailed cost components to address the Owner's project requirements. Participate in the Encouraging Growth, Diversity & Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. The Ohio Registered Architect shall have the following registrations and memberships: a Registered Architect (RA), Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), Registered Roof Observer (RRO), registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC), Registered Building Envelope Consultant (BREC), Roof Consultant Institute (RCI), and National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: Program Verification, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Document Preparation, Bid and Award Support, Conformed Documents, Construction Administration, Post-Construction, and Additional Services of all types. Refer to the Ohio Facilities Construction Manual for additional information about the type and extent of services required for each. During the construction period, provide not less than 4 hours (excluding travel time) on-site construction administration services each week, including (1) attendance at progress meetings, (2) a written field report of each site visit, (3) on-site representation comprised of the A/E and its consultant staff involved in the primary design of the project, all having relevant and appropriate types of construction administration experience. A keen understanding of requirements for contractor work schedules to cooperate with a college student environment and working on occupied structures will be a key factor in performing administrative services for this project. For purposes of completing the Relevant Project Experience Matrix in Section F of the Statement of Qualifications (Form F110-330), below is a list of relevant scope of work requirements for this RFQ: 1. Project Delivery Method - General Contracting 2. AE Lead, AE Sub 3. Roof Replacement/Repair occupied college building 4. State of Ohio, locally administered higher education experience 5. Cost/benefit analysis of alternative roofing systems 6. Sustainable solutions that will allow material and/or warranty cost savings A general description of project tasks includes: 1. Removal and disposal of roughly 45,215 square feet of roofing membrane, insulation, edge metal and associated roofing elements, as well as the removal and storage of lighting protection air terminals and cables. 2. Installation of roughly 45,215 square feet of new roofing system consisting of a single-ply EPDM membrane, cover board, rigid insulation, adhesive, aluminum coping and other edge metal, as well as reinstallation and certification of the lightning protection system. 3.
