Description | The work outlined herein in calls for removing the above ground portion of 8 trees (DBH from <12” to 41”) and pruning approximately 12 trees (DBH from <12” to 41”) at the Schuyler House located in the Saratoga National Historical Park. Additionally, there will be stump grinding in selected areas. Trees are accessible by bucket truck or climbing at the Schuler House. Nearly all trees are located within maintained and developed areas with high densities of pedestrians, vehicles, utilities, and structures. Some areas are easily accessible via improved vehicle routes, while other areas, require planning and thoughtful consideration of ground stability to determine the best place and time for access across unimproved surfaces. The majority of the wood shall be removed from the park and delivered to a wood recycling facility, as outlined in 3.1 Tree removal and pruning. Ash trees will be disposed of as informed by NY State guidance and law. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment and sufficient personnel for tree removal, and all related incidental work as in accordance with the quote schedule and specifications stated herein. Therefore, any items not specifically noted, but necessary for performance in accordance with International Arborist Association Standards (ANSI A300) shall be furnished under this contract. |
