Continuing Service Contract for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Design/Engineering Services

Provide Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Design/Engineering Services for projects valued less than $2,000,000.00 and for Studies when Professional Service Fees do not exceed $200,000.00. 1. The Consultant shall provide Design/Engineering Services based on the current School District of Osceola County Design Guidelines. 2. Provide services necessary for the review, comment, and approval of design documents, and final construction drawings and specifications. 3. Provide complete Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Design/Engineering Services and related services to include schematic, design development and construction documents. The Consultant is required to coordinate the professional services required to support the completed design of the Project. 4. Provide investigation, identification, analysis and recommendations associated with bidding, construction contract negotiations, value engineering and cost change evaluation. 5. The Consultant shall provide cost of construction estimates throughout the design process and shall provide adjusted estimates, as may be required. If the Consultant has determined the estimated cost of construction has changed during any phase of design, the Consultant shall provide the adjusted estimate, in writing, to the Owner’s Project Representative and the Facilities Division’s Director of Design and Construction Services. 6. Provide contract administration and inspection services for construction/renovation projects. 7. Provide inspection and reporting services for existing MEP Systems to identify potential problems that relate to, but are not limited to, materials, workmanship and system age. Inspection and reporting services may also include all phases of design and construction.
