Description | The contract involves the transportation and disposal of grit and screenings generated at JCMUA`s at East Side and West Side Pump Stations. The grit and screenings material is considered by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to be a non-hazardous solid waste as a result of a waste classification determination based on sampling results for the material. The provision of transportation and disposal services shall be bid in one, two, three and five-year contract periods. Each bidder is required as part of its bid to submit copies of all licenses and permits required to perform the transportation and disposal services described herein. A bidder shall be required to provide evidence with its bid of its ability to secure the necessary environmental/impairment liability insurance as well as required bonds and insurances. The Successful Bidder shall be responsible for securing all permits as may be required for performance of the transportation and disposal services. There will be no in-person attendance at the time of the bid opening pursuant to Governor`s Executive Orders on restrictions for gatherings. |
