The building will be the main storage of evidence for the police department. The building will be a pre-engineered metal building. The exterior walls will be metal panels on a combination of CMU and metal studs. The storage building will have paved access and landscaping with all associated installations. Trades include concrete; masonry; metals; wood and plastics; thermal and moisture protection; doors and windows; finishes; specialties; special construction; electrical; earthwork; exterior improvements; utilities. __________________________________________________________________________________ The project consists of the proposed construction of a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) at the site located in Cleveland, Texas, in Liberty County. It is understood that the proposed single-story PEMB will have a footprint of approximately 1,600 square feet (sf). The following recommendations are based on assumed slab loads of approximately 200 pounds per square foot (psf) and concentrated loads of approximately 15,000 pounds. Gessner Engineering shall be notified if greater loads are anticipated. The Bidder further agrees to pay as Liquidated Damages the sum of $700.00 for each calendar day that the work shall remain substantially incomplete after the expiration of the calendar days specified and any extended days allowed by the Owner's Representative in accordance with the Specifications, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages and added expense for supervision and delay in obtaining the use of the work.
