Forestry Coordinator Contracts

Coordinate the contracting to maintain and improve infrastructure on USFS CNNF level one roads (gated/bermed), recreation trails and habitat recreation areas through vegetation control, brushing and grading, access management, and minor surface improvements. Forestry Coordinator/project management for one year with two one-year renewal options. The Department is looking for two contracts the first being Project management work on potential mowing and brushing projects across the Western zone (Part A) of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. This zone covers the Washburn, Great Divide, and Medford – Park Falls districts of the national forest. Counties covered by these areas include: Ashland, Bayfield, Price, Sawyer, Taylor, and Vilas. The second contract is for project management work on potential mowing and brushing projects across the Eastern zone (Part B) of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. This zone covers the Eagle River – Florence and Lakewood – Laona districts of the national forest. Counties covered by these areas include: Florence, Forest, Langlade, Oconto, Oneida, and Vilas
