Plumbing Supplies on an As Needed Basis

The City of Rancho Cucamonga (hereinafter City) and is inviting qualified Vendors (hereinafter Vendor) to submit a bid response for Request for Bid (RFB) #23/24-103 for Plumbing Supplies on an As Needed Basis in accordance with the minimum Specifications indicated herein. It is the Citys intent to award a Purchase Order to the two lowest most qualified responsive vendors. All questions or clarification requests must be submitted directly through the bid system by the due date and time indicated in the above Schedule of Events. Answers and/or clarifications will be provided in the form of an Addendum and will be posted from the Citys bid system in accordance with the above Schedule of Events. From the issuance date of this Request for Bid until a Vendor is awarded, Vendors are not permitted to communicate with any City staff or officials regarding this procurement, other than during interviews, demonstrations, and/or site visits, except at the direction of Ruth Cain, CPPB, Procurement Manager, or Hector Velazquez, Procurement Technician, the designated representatives of the City of Rancho Cucamonga. The City reserves the right to withdraw this Solicitation at any time without prior notice and makes no representations that an award will be issued to any Vendor responding to this Solicitation. The City expressly reserves the right to reject any and all Solicitation Responses without indicating any reasons for such rejections. Solicitation Responses become the property of the City. Please do not add California Sales Tax to your pricing calculations. The City does not award based off of an amount including tax and the applicable amount of CA Sales Tax will be added to the Grand Total during the issuance of a Purchase Order. The successful Vendor may be required to obtain a Rancho Cucamonga Business License prior to any services or work being rendered. Vendor must also possess and maintain all appropriate licenses/certifications Only those responses received from registered Vendors will be accepted. Responses must be submitted by the named Vendor that has downloaded the solicitation; this information is indicated in the bid system and provides the ability to tabulate the responses in accordance to the named From the issuance date of this Solicitation until an award is issued, Vendors are not permitted to communicate with any City Staff or Officials regarding this solicitation, other than under the direction of the designated representatives of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as indicated in the solicitation. The City reserves the right to conduct pre-award discussions and/or pre-Contract negotiations with any or all responsive Vendors who submit solicitation responses. The right is reserved, unless otherwise stated, to accept or reject all or any solicitation responses, or any part thereof, either separately or as a whole, or to waive any informality and to split or make the award in any manner determined by the City to be in the best interest of the City. The Vendor is solely responsible for ensuring that the complete solicitation response is received by the City in accordance with the solicitation requirements, prior to the date and time specified in the solicitation, and at the place specified. The City shall not be responsible for any delays in mail or by common carriers or by transmission error or delays or missed delivery. Vendors are responsible for downloading and reviewing the Citys Standard Terms and Conditions. The document must be signed and uploaded a the time of submitting your solicitation response. Failure to provide the signed document may render the Vendors solicitation submittal as non-responsive. The issuance of this RFB does not constitute an agreement by the City that any contract will be entered by the City. The City expressly reserves the right at any time to: Waive or correct any defect or informality in any response, RFB, or RFB procedure. Reject any or all RFBs. Reissue a Request for Bids. Prior to submission deadline for RFBs, modify all or any portion of the selection procedures, including deadlines for accepting responses, the specifications or requirements for any materials, equipment or services to be provided under this RFB, or the requirements for contents or format of the RFBs. Procure any materials, equipment or services specified in this RFB by any other means. Determine that no project will be pursued. The City reserves the right to inspect the Vendors place of business prior to award or at any time during the contract term or any extension thereof, to determine the Vendors capabilities and qualifications.
