Description | The City of Lebanon is accepting sealed proposals for the replacement of the roof located over the gym area at the Jimmy Floyd Family Center. An onsite visit is necessary for this bid. City of Lebanon Reserves the Right to Reject All or Any Part of Any Rfp The City of Lebanon is Exempt From State Tax and Federal Exercise Tax No Proposals Received After Closing Will Be Accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive information, irregularities, and technicalities in the process. The City may negotiate separately with any source in any manner necessary to arrive at a contract agreement that is in the best interest of the city. In the event the awarded vendor does not perform any or all parts of the agreement to the satisfaction of the City of Lebanon, the vendor will be given a 30-day written notice of cancelation. The intent of this Request for Proposals and resulting contract is to provide the City of Lebanon with information concerning roof replacement at the Jimmy Floyd Family Center, Gym Roof Only (Phase 2). The purpose of this document is to explain work description and job requirements for the purpose of acquiring bids for the replacement of (1) existing roof. CURRENT CONDITIONS: 1. The roof is a 23-year-old flat roof (completed December 1999). 2. Current membrane has been patched in several locations. 3. There are known leaks on the west, north and south areas of the roof. 4. Along the front side (west) the membrane is not adhering to the roof properly and has visible holes. 5. The size of the roof is approximately 16,800 sq. ft. plus additional membrane continuing up the sides of the wall. 6. The roof is in poor condition at this time. 7. Pictures of the roof are attached showing current condition. |
