The principal features of the work to be performed under this contract consist of all labor, equipment, fees, permits, and other related costs necessary for installation of the force main, which includes horizontal directional drilled utility pipe with casing below solid land masses and below waterways, open cut utility pipe trenches, access chambers for buried utility piping and accessories, modification of existing building structural and architectural elements, valves and associated appurtenances, backfilling, resurfacing, wetland restoration and landscaping as described in the Contract Documents. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend and must wear all appropriate PPE including hard hat, safety toe boots, eye protection, & safety vest.
