Lincoln Street Protected Bike Lanes - City of Eugene

This project will replace a northbound buffered bike lane with a two-way protected bike lane on Lincoln Street from 11th Avenue to 5th Avenue. The segment from 13th Avenue to 11th Avenue will receive dedicated bicycle facilities linking this bikeway corridor to the 13th Avenue bikeway, which features a two-way protected bike lane from Lincoln Street to the University of Oregon campus. Intersections will be upgraded with new signal infrastructure and curb ramps. Overhead lighting along the corridor will also be improved to enhance visibility for all users. Project has received two federal grants from ODOT and the Central Lane MPO. Otherwise, work on the project has not started. No public involvement has taken place As of January 5, 2023, this project is currently in the FY 2022-2027 CIP. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2022-2024. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction has not started yet. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
