Description

475287 Repair Big Piney Weir Construction, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri The United States Army Corps of Engineers; Kansas City District requires repair to the existing w ater intake w eir in the Big Piney River. The w ater intake w eir has deteriorated from the time that previous repairs w ere undertaken. The concrete cap has several large cracks in the surface, the gabion baskets below the cap can be seen in locations, and some pieces of the dow n stream edge of the concrete w eir cap have broken off. The gabion baskets have also deteriorated, many are missing rock material or have broken open. During boring it w as observed that there are large voids under the concrete cap and w ater w as flow ing through the w eir. SEE SPECIFICATIONS FOR FULL DETAILS. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. No contract aw ard w ill be made until appropriated funds are made available. This requirement is Full and Open Competition. This Request for Proposal (RFP) w ill result in the aw ard of a single Design-Bid-Build Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 237990 w ith a small business size standard of $39.5 Million Dollars. The magnitude of this project is betw een $5 Million to $10 Million.
