Description | River Ridge Development Authority will receive Bids for the Penny Martin Roadway Phase 1 project This work includes new road, sanitary sewer, and water main construction to support development of the River Ridge Commerce Center in Clark County, Indiana. The work shall be substantially completed by June 30, 2023. Substantially complete shall mean that all water main and sanitary sewer shall be installed, all road work shall be completed and open to traffic through its final roadway surface, including curb and gutter, drainage features, markings, and signing as shown in the contract documents. All work shall be 100% complete including site cleanup, punchlist items, etc. on or before July 31, 2023. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. Each Bid Proposal shall also require a statement to the effect that if the Bidder is awarded the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price will be executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. Bid Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on forms incorporated in the Contract Documents, including State Form 52414 (Form 96), revised 2013 or later. Any questions received via email will be answered in the form of an Addendum (if necessary) submitted to all plan holders. In accordance with IC 22-5-1.7-3, Contractors and Sub-Contractors are required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. In accordance with IC 5-22-16.5, Contractors entering into a contract with the Owner will be required to provide an Indiana Iran Investment Certification. In accordance with IC 4-13-18, Contractor shall submit an Employee Drug Testing Plan with their Bid and contractors of any tier as defined in IC 5-16- 13-4 must comply with the drug testing requirements. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of sixty (60) days following the date set for opening Bids. The Owner reserves the right to retain all Bids for a period of not more than sixty (60) days and said Bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Owner further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to any Bidder to the advantage of the Owner, or to reject all BIDS. |
