(0.27 Mile) Intersection Improvement Consisting of HMA Surface Removal, Pavement Widening, Earth Excavation, ADA Sidewalk Repair, Construction of A Concrete Barrier Median and HMA Resurfacing

Improvement project in which the work to be performed under this contract includes hot-mix asphalt surface removal, pavement widening, pavement patching, resurfacing with polymerized leveling binder and hot-mix asphalt surface course, earth excavation, drainage structures adjustment and cleaning, sidewalk removal, construction of a concrete barrier median, removal and replacement of combination concrete curb and gutter, placement of thermoplastic pavement markings, installation of raised reflective pavement markers, traffic signal modernization. This project begins at a point on the centerline of IL 171 (FAP 372) (First Avenue) approximately 800 feet south of Roosevelt Road and extends in a northerly direction to a point 632 feet north of Roosevelt Road for a total distance of 1,432 feet (0.27 mile). On Roosevelt Road, the project begins at a point approximately 654 feet west of IL 171 and extends in an easterly direction to a point 400 feet east of IL 171 for a total distance of 1,054 feet (0.20 mile).
