Description | Eng Project # 22-009 Waubay Office HVAC Location: Waubay National Wildlife Refuge 1. 100% Small Business Set-aside, NAICS Code 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, Size Standard $16.5M. This solicitation is a request for proposal under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and awarded as a firm-fixed price construction contract. All reference to discussions shall not be interpreted under FAR Part 15, but rather indicates that the Government may communicate with offers as allowed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. 2. IAW FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. 3. Contractors shall follow instruction in section L of the solicitation. A responsive proposal shall consist of at minimum a Price Proposal, Technical Approach and Relevant Past Performance. 4. Any request for information or request for a site visit must be received no later than 15 August 2022 via e-mail at miguel_martinez@fws.gov by 12:00 PM MST. 5. The office utilizes two separate HVAC systems, one installed in 1983, which has one HVAC unit utilizing a geothermal system with propane backup and one installed in 2004 with two HVAC units utilizing a separate geothermal system. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the following work in accordance with specification and drawings herein Firm Fix Price Contract *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
