This solicitation is a request for proposal under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and awarded as a firm-fixed price construction contract. The office utilizes two separate HVAC systems, one installed in 1983, which has one HVAC unit utilizing a geothermal system with propane backup and one installed in 2004 with two HVAC units utilizing a separate geothermal system.
