Description | The Bid Proposal must be a paper copy, with an original signature, submitted in an envelope along with the original bid security, all as described in Section B Information for Bidders. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or bidders bond in favor of the Fawn-Frazer Joint Water Authority, in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal. Contract Number 21-1 General/mechanical Contract Number 21-2 Electrical and Control This Contract is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Workers must be paid not less than the prevailing minimum wages established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, as shown in the applicable schedule. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record at Bankson Engineers, Inc. as having obtained the Bidding Documents. Bids will be accepted only from Bidders who have obtained official sets of Bidding Documents from Bankson Engineers, Inc. and who are on Bankson Engineers, Inc.s list of planholders. Contract Number 21-1 - General/Mechanical work includes repairing and repainting a 250,000-gallon welded steel potable water tank. Furnishing and installing a new shell manway, non-corrosive roof vent and remove, store and reinstall and protect ancillary antennas and equipment in and around the tank.
