Description | The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision and incidentals necessary to furnish and install a new Kohler 200kW diesel generator, electrical switchgear, and other generator accessories at 2583 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Orange City, in accordance with the Section 6, Scope of Work of this bid document. The City will only consider bids which clearly demonstrate a complete turnkey project. The awarded Contractor will be responsible for the installation including any required design, engineering permitting and inspections through the City’s Building department. All work must comply with the Florida Building Code (FBC). The SOW includes, but is not limited to, the following items. 1. All permits and inspections as required by the City of Orange City Building Department. 2. Provide manufacturer’s specifications and DIM sheet of all items with Bid. 3. Manufacturer’s lead time on generator delivery to Contractor from receipt of order. 4. Removal and disposal of existing generator. 5. Removal of existing ATS. Upon removal, existing ATS shall be palletized, wrapped, and delivered to the Orange City Utilities South Plant 743 Harley Strickland Boulevard, Orange City, FL 32763, in coordination with City staff for potential future use. 6. Furnish and install a 200kW Kohler generator. The generator should be Model 200REOZJF including an APM402 Controller with the two input/five output module or an approved equivalent. 7. Furnish and install a new ATS 3R 480V, compatible with new generator. 8. Provide electrical, low voltage, and grounding connections. 9. Provide electrical 1-line drawing as required. 10. Inspect existing electrical lightning/surge protection device and replace if deemed necessary. 11. Furnish and install generator accessories including battery charger, space heaters, lockable emergency stop, and line circuit breaker. 12. Connect existing exhaust system and utilize existing building penetrations. 13. Provide delivery and equipment for setting of new generator same day. 14. Electrician on site for startup. |
