Construction of Additional Truck Parking Lot Adjacent to the Existing Lots at Both the Northbound and Southbound Trail of Tears Rest Area on I-57, North of IL 146

The project involves construction of a new PCC Pavement truck parking lot adjacent to the existing truck lot at the NB and SB Rest Areas. The proposed lots will allow for 13 new stalls at NB location and 21 new stalls at SB location. Existing curb and gutter at both locations will be removed in order to tie-in new pavement and new Combinaiton Concrete Curb and Gutter will be installed. Additional work includes tree removal, earthwork, seeding and pavement marking.
