Description | Bids/Invitation to Bid Notice is hereby given that SEALED BIDS will be received by the Construction Manager, Wharton Smith, Inc., until 10:00am on October 18, 2022 for all bid packages for the project: Pinellas County North Redington Beach Fire Station and Lift Station Replacement. Bids for the following Project Divisions are requested: site work, storm, landscaping, concrete & asphalt paving, concrete foundations and slab on grade, load bearing masonry walls, structural steel joist and deck, rough carpentry, caulking, fire sealant, membrane roofing, roof insulation, fireproofing, wall insulation, flush panel and metal doors, windows, metal stud, and gypsum board ceiling, acoustical ceiling, ceramic tile, quarry tile, V.C.T, painting, toilet room specialties, signage, lockers, fire protection, food service equipment, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. Construction on the Lift Station 79 replacement commenced in March 2022, with the project scheduled to take 11 months to complete. The construction of the rescue station is anticipated to start after the lift station is completed in early 2023. Wharton Smith encourages and invites M/WBE Subtrades and Suppliers to submit bids on any portion of this project. Wharton Smith reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and irregularities in bidding and for accepting bids which are considered in the best interest of this project.
