Georgia Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System

To conduct the Georgia Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System survey in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention methodology and guidelines and have the necessary tools and systems to efficiently administer the survey. Conduct telephone (cellular and landline) interviews for the Georgia Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) and collect data on 2,800 (35%) completed landline, 5,200 (65%) completed cellular and 400 completed Asthma Call Back survey from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. BRFSS collects data on risk behaviors and preventive health practices of adults (18 years of age and older, non-institutionalized) population in Georgia. Currently, the Georgia BRFSS survey ranges between 23-24 minutes per survey, not including the Asthma Call Back survey. The telephone surveys shall be conducted in accordance with the methodology and protocol of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
