Description | *As of December 7, 2022, a general contractor has been awarded. The Governing Board of the Charter School of Morgan Hill reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to act as sole judge of the merit and qualifications of the proposals offered. work, potable water system work, electrical and low voltage connections, and new utility connections of new and existing buildings. 9) All finish grades, site work, hardscape, planting and irrigation, site accessories as shown in the Contract Documents is the responsibility of the General Contractor. 10) The General Contractor shall provide all power and low voltage systems underground conduits and pull boxes to 5'-0" outside the new modular building's footprints and the points of connection shall be coordinated with the modular manufacturer. General Contractor shall provide all power and low voltage systems and underground conduit and pull boxes for all relocated buildings. 11) Complete install of fire alarm system at modular buildings and relocated modular buildings, and new exterior lighting and controls. 12) The General Contractor shall provide, pull, terminate and test all feeders from existing distribution panel, fiber optic cable, telephone, clock, speaker and fire alarm cabling from connection point to the building. In addition, all low voltage wiring, termination and testing inside and between building shall be the responsibility of the General Contractor. This shall include, but not be limited to telephone outlets, data outlets, fiber optic cabling, fire alarm wiring, and power wiring. The General Contractor will also provide and install new distribution conduits and wiring as contained within the contract documents. 13) The General Contractor shall insure all utilities and building systems for and in the relocated buildings, the new buildings, and modernized existing buildings are fully complete and in working order. 14) Contractor shall provide all required temporary facilities and utilities through the entire course of construction. Questions regarding documents, discrepancies, omissions, or doubt as to meanings shall be referred immediately to the Architect who will send written instructions clarifying such questions to each bidder. All questions must be submitted in writing by October 25, 2022, 5:00pm PST |
