Description

The Contract encompasses the construction of a 24 inch water main extension from Darwin Drive to Beaglin Park Drive along Gordy Road. It includes the installation of water main by direct bury, inside a 36 inch jacked and bored steel casing pipe for 176 feet +/- with a directionally drilled section of 525 feet +/-. The work also includes removal of existing roadway pavement for the installation of new 24 inch water main. The total length of the water main is approximately 5,268 feet +/-. The work includes full depth pavement reconstruction and mill/overlay of existing pavement as indicated on the drawings and plans. A Traffic Control Plan has been developed for the project using the “Single Lane Closure” method of construction.
