Description | The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Division of Soil Conservation and Water Quality (Division), is inviting engineers and engineering firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) packet to prequalify for a number of professional engineering and land surveying services routinely required by the Division. Firms and individuals may choose to submit qualifications for any or all of the types of professional service outlined in this invitation. A committee of Division personnel will evaluate SOQ submittals for each type of professional service, and the submitting firm or individual may be deemed qualified for all, none, or any subset of the services for which they submit qualifications. Prequalified firms or individuals will remain prequalified for up to six years so long as eligibility requirements are maintained. Prequalification is not an award, and does not create an obligation on behalf of the Division. If deemed qualified, firms or individuals will receive a Request for Proposal (RFP) whenever the Division requires the type(s) of services for which they are prequalified. SOQs are being requested for the following professional engineering and land surveying services: 1. Abandoned Coal Mine Land Reclamation for both traditional and natural land form designs; 2. Design and land surveying services for nutrient reduction infrastructure practice types including: a. Wetlands (traditional breakpoint, flood plain, oxbow, tile zone, and pumped); b. Edge-of-field practices (saturated buffers, woodchip bioreactors, drainage water management); and c. Grade stabilization structures. 3. Design review services for urban conservation practices; and 4. Update and review of the Stormwater Management Manual. Interested firms and individuals must submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) to Casey Judge at casey.judge@iowaagriculture.gov no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, June 11, 2021. LOI include the firms or individuals office location, contact information, and which types of services they are interested in submitting qualifications. Upon receipt of an LOI, interested firms and individuals will be sent the full SOQ requirements and instructions. S The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time. As of May 11, 2023, no new information available |
