Description

This project will correct pavement deficiencies that exist on State Route 117 from State Route 9 to the Pace University Entrance and on State Route 141 from Worth Place to Marble Avenue in the Town of Mount Pleasant in Westchester County. Along State Route 117, the work will primarily consist of cold in place recycling where the existing pavement is milled off, renewed and replaced. On State Route 141, the work will primarily consist of milling off the existing pavement and replacing milled pavement by applying a warm-mix asphalt overlay to the road surface. Both treatments will extend each route¿s service life and improve the quality and safety of the pavement. Additionally, existing pedestrian facilities will be reconstructed to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act specifications where applicable.
