Description | **As of September 1, 2022, project is cancelled. No definite date for the rebid.** **Cost range for the project is between $500,000 and $2,500,000. the City of Sullivan, Indiana ("Owner") will receive sealed bids regarding a Roadway Improvement Project in the Sullivan City Hall. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This work shall include, but is not limited to, milling of existing pavement, resurfacing with hot-mix asphalt, full depth pavement replacement with hot-mix asphalt, drainage structure improvements, sidewalk and curb ramp improvements, driveway improvements, and providing pavement markings as specified. Any questions, comments, or requests for clarification should be made to United Consulting. BID GUARANTY: Each Bid Proposal Packet shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashier s check made payable to the City of Sullivan or an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. If the Bidder is awarded the Contract, a Performance, Labor and Material Bond shall be required in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. BID PROPOSALS: Bid Proposal Packets shall be properly and completely executed on the forms provided, including State Form 52414 (Form 96), revised 2013 or later. Contractors and Sub-Contractors are required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of 60 days following the date set for opening bids. The Department of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days and said bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Department of Public Works and Safety further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to any Bidder to the advantage of the City of Sullivan, or to reject all bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
