RFQ - Five Mile Wash Bridge and Little Colorado Bridge

Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to fiscal year 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The scope of this project is to replace the existing Five Mile Wash and Little Colorado bridges. The ADOT structure numbers for the bridges are as follows: Five Mile Wash Bridge #0948 Little Colorado Bridge #0667 A detailed description of project improvements is included in Section 400. The Design firm shall perform following tasks, at a minimum: Design and prepare construction plans, technical specifications, quantity computations, cost estimates and related construction documents including structure selection reports, bridge hydraulic reports, foundation investigations (roadway and bridge) and roadway drainage reports. Perform supplemental survey as needed for the design of the proposed roadway, drainage, bridge, and traffic improvements. Delineate new right-of-way requirements, if any, including TCE and other needs. Prepare a NEPA compliant Environmental Document and environmental technical reports, as necessary and incorporate all environmental commitments into the construction documents. Provide post design services, added by contract modification, as necessary for successful completion of the construction project. All format requirements, submittal guidelines, instructions and documentation submission contained in this RFQ Package are for the ECS Contract Number and ADOT Project Number referenced above. SOQ submittals failing to follow the format, online submittal guidelines or any other instructions outlined in this RFQ Package shall be rejected. ADOT reserves the right to reject any and all SOQs, cancel the advertisement, negotiations or contract at any time in the best interest of the State. This contract will allow for the use of Subconsultants. No administrative fee, hours or markup of Subconsultant rates will be allowed by the prime consultant or accepted by ADOT. Any firm that has submitted an SOQ as a Prime Consultant and is identified as a Subconsultant in another Prime Consultant's proposal shall have their Prime Consultant SOQ submission rejected. If a Prime Consultant lists firms as Subconsultants in its SOQ, the Prime Consultant must be able to provide ADOT with evidence, if requested, of written consent provided by the Subconsultant firms that are listed as part of their Prime Consultant's SOQ, or that Prime Consultant's SOQ will be rejected. A firm who proposed, but was not selected may be added as a subconsultant after contracts have been executed. This contract has been established as Race Conscious with a 7.01% DBE Goal. The Compensation Type for this contract will be Lump Sum.
