| Description | The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements generally described as follows: The Fiber Conduit Inter-connect project (Brown & Relocated Purple Routes) includes installation of one 7-way multi-duct conduit within a 4-inch HDPE sleeve, installation of structures and surface restoration along the Booneville Road, South 88th Street, SE County Line Road and Veterans Parkway corridors in the City of West Des Moines, Iowa. Improvements include installing approximately 20,050 lineal feet of 4-inch HDPE (SDR 7 & SDR 11) conduit, installing 20,700 lineal feet of owner-provided 7-way multi-duct conduit within the 4-inch sleeve, installation of handholes and vaults, installation of test stations, racking systems in the structures, clearing and grubbing, erosion control, traffic control and other associated improvements required for a complete and functional conduit network for the future installation of fiber optic cables. |
