Schuss Mountain Lane: In Custer Township, beginning at Schuss Mountain Drive thence northerly approximately 1,125’. Project description: place 5E1 scratch and wedge over existing pavement at an average yield of 110 lbs/syd (est. 206 tons, included in HMA, 5E1 pay item) and place 5E1 HMA top course at 220 lbs/syd (est. 413 tons, paid for as HMA, 5E1). Butt joint shall be constructed at north end of project by milling existing pavement (37 Syd, paid for as Pavt for Butt Joints, Rem). Feather into Schuss Mountain Drive pavement on south end. Approaches shall feathered onto as directed by the engineer (6’ to 10’) with 5E1 HMA at 220 lbs/syd (9 driveways and paths, 26 tons, paid for as HMA Approach. Del Mason Road: In Custer Township, beginning at Alden Hwy thence north approximately 1,350’. Project description: place 5E1 HMA over prepared gravel base at an average yield of 220 lbs/syd (est. 363 tons, included in HMA, 5E1 pay item). Western Road: In Milton Township, beginning at Hickin Road thence south to end of pavement, approximately 2,870’. Project description: place 5E1 HMA over existing pavement at an average yield of 220 lbs/syd (est. 737 tons, paid for as HMA, 5E1)
