Please read carefully all instructions, specifications, terms and conditions. Failure to comply with the instructions, specifications, terms and conditions of this Request may result in your proposal being declared non responsive. Note, the purchase of materials and/or services awarded under this Request will be subject to the Terms and Conditions as well as all statements contained in this Request for Proposal. New Mexico criminal law prohibits bribes, gratuities and kickbacks (13-1-28 through 13-1-199, NMSA 1978). UNM Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) is working with UNM Maxwell Museum of Anthropology leadership and curatorial staff to renovate the existing Ancestor's Gallery Permanent Exhibition housed in Building 11 on UNM's main campus. The Maxwell Museum is housed in a building that is the result of a series of additions to John Gaw Meem's original 1936 Student Union Building, which later became the Anthropology Building by the early 1960's. The existing gallery is approximately 1000 sf and the proposed new gallery space is approximately 1500 sf. The Project will involve guidance and input from Maxwell Museum leadership and curatorial staff. The Project includes the design and renovation of the existing, occupied indoor museum gallery space and must meet or exceed UNM and State requirements for best practices in construction, accessibility and sustainability. This amount includes NMGRT, contingency, and escalation. The MACC includes the cost of demolition, abatement and testing of hazardous materials. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Question Submission Close Date is 10/24/2022 3:00 PM MDT
