| Description | olmsted County (hereby referred to as "the County") is seeking proposals from qualified person(s) ("Respondents") to design, engineer, build, maintain, and decommission a turn-key installation of up to 39 kW rooftop or ground mount solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the Olmsted County Kalmar Landfill (site address below). The successful Respondent will have demonstrated experience with designing, planning, scheduling, permitting, constructing, interconnecting, maintaining, and decommissioning a solar PV system. In 2022, the Olmsted County Kalmar Landfill procured approximately 46,000 kWH/year of electricity through People's Energy Cooperative. In efforts to reduce Olmsted County's environmental impact and advance the goal of the landfill being carbon neutral by 2040, the County is seeking to add solar to the site.
