Question Acceptance Deadline 01/17/2024 03:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes, Any questions about the terms and conditions of this IFB, or any addendum or attachment hereto, shall be submitted to the Procurement Department in writing no later. Inquiries received after this deadline may not receive a response. Garfield County reserves the right to cancel this IFB, in whole or in part, at any time, if it is in the best interests of Garfield County. Garfield County is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified individuals or companies to provide ADA accessible ramps at the Sunnyside Retirement Center Located at 601 21 st St., Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81601. The contractor will be responsible for the demolition and new work to make the sidewalk, ramps and accessible parking that will meet ADA requirements. 1. Contractor will be responsible for coordinating all utilities, potholing if necessary. Call 811 72 hours prior to the digging. The Contractor is responsible for all damages to utility lines. 2. Contractor responsible to obtain all necessary permits and/or approvals prior to beginning construction. 3. Contractor to coordinate with geotechnical engineer for recommendations concerning trench stability, safety, and shoring. 4. Maintain 18" separation between any utilities that may need to be crossed. If 18" cannot be maintained, you must notify the engineer for alternatives. 5. The contractor shall verify dimensions, evaluations, and site conditions before starting work and will notify the project manage and engineer immediately of any discrepancies before proceeding with work. 6. All omissions and conflicts between the various elements of the working drawings and/or specifications shall be brought to the attention of the project manager and engineer before proceeding with work. 7. Finished excavation shall be neat and true to line with loose material and standing water removed from excavations. 8. Contractor will install new ADA parking signage, restripe parking as needed with an oil base paint. 9. Contractor will install new railing to meet ADA requirements. 10. Rework landscape as needed to meet existing landscape. 11. Always maintain access to the building for tenants. 12. Daily clean-up is required
