Description | Description: Maine Federal Aid Project No. 2498700 WIN. 024987.00 Location: In Oxford County Segment I: On Route 5 in Hiram, beginning at the 45-mph sign between the two intersections for Shotgun Gulch and continuing north for 12.5 miles to the 35-mph sign near Porter Road in Fryeburg. In York County Segment 2: On Route 109 in Wells, beginning in between the intersections of El Velvet Circle and continuing north for 2.31 miles to Kennebunk Road in Sanford. Segment 3: On Route 109 in Acton, beginning at the 50-mph sign north of 7 th Street and continuing 3.63 miles. Segment 4: On Route 202 in Alfred, beginning at the 50-mph sign just east of Central Maine Power building and continuing east for 1.64 miles. Segment 5: On Route 202 in Alfred, beginning at the 45-mph sign north of Kennebunk Road continuing north for 2.93 miles to the 35-mph sign near Downcast Auto in Waterboro. Segment 6: On Route 202 in Waterboro, beginning at the 55-mph sign at the intersection of Straw Mill Brook Road continuing east 2.23 miles. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal Laws. This contract is subject to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation.
