Description | The scope of work includes but is not limited to decontamination (disinfection) using steam blast pressure wash and rinse surface areas to remove unsightly pests, bird dropping contamination, nesting, etc. Arial bomb equipment may be required to access impacted areas. After appropriate cleaning, low visibility, highly durable, long-life netting will be installed to provide a barrier and deterrent against further swallow or bird intrusion in this area: below tank access stair landings. Birdrepellant optical gel will be used as a deterrent against bird intrusion on top of light poles and wall packs. All materials used are non-toxic, harmless, and odorless to humans. 1. Cleaning Details: clean and wash all areas removing any nesting and bird-dropping contamination, as and where needed, including adjacent tank walls and fixtures down to the ground-level concrete pad area adjacent to the tank and piping (Includes an application of an anti-bacterial spray for surface sanitizing). 2. Netting Specifications: a. Netting is a 10-year-rated polyethylene multi-strand woven durable material, installed, taught, and tailor-fitted to subject areas, plus support cross-cabling added for longevity. b.
