Description | **As of May 4,2023, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** MBE = 15% WBE = 5% DBE = N/A *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Etise Street Pump Station work consists, in general, of installing plant control system; installing conduit, wire, and field connections for all motors, motor controllers, control devices, control panels and electrical equipment; installing conduit, wiring, aad terminations for all field-mounted instruments; modifications to existing lighting panelboards; providing a complete cathodic protection system for existing structures; testing of systems; and all miscellaneous work necessary to complete said project. The Lake Merritt Pump Station work consists, in general, of modifications to the electrical service from PG&E; modifications to existing control systems; replacement of existing motor control centers including temporary installation, rewiring to existing power feeders, controls, and SCADA monitoring, demolition ofexisting motor control center, and final permanent installation of the new motor control center; modifications to existing control panels and motor controllers; replacement of all existing lighting fixtures with new LED fixtures; testing of systems; and all miscellaneous work necessary to complete said project. This project is subject to all Local, State, and Federal laws, rotes and guidelines contained in the plans and specifications, including but not limited to payment of prevailing wages. These wage rales are available ai the Alameda County Public Works Agency's office- at 951 Turner Court, Room 300, Hayward, Alameda County. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with (he Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5, with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a). The contractor for this project must possess a Class A or (MO license al the lime this contract is awarded and throughout the construction contract duration. Contractor must also be properly licensed at the time the bid is submitted, except as provided for in Section 7029J ofthe Business and Profession Code forjoint ventures or by Section 20103.5 ofthe Public Contract Code for federally-funded projects.
