Splash Pad Design and Construction

The project shall take place at Frontier Fields, 650 N 9th Place, Show Low, AZ. The planned improvements at Frontier Field include the construction of a new inclusive playground, parking and pedestrian improvements, and a splash pad. This Request for Proposals is for the splash pad facility only. The proposals shall be to provide a turnkey splash pad facility. The splash pad will be approximately 60 feet in diameter. It will be located adjacent to an inclusive playground. The splash pad project must include all necessary equipment for water re-use. The proposer shall provide all necessary equipment for filtration, disinfection, controls, drains, tanks, distribution piping, actuators, pumps, valves, etc. Concrete deck, sidewalks, and site work shall be included in the contractor`s scope of work. Wet pedestrian areas shall be surfaced with appropriate material to abate slipping and heat. A Concrete Masonry Unit building for housing the mechanical equipment shall be included as a part of this proposal. Water, wastewater and electrical utility stubs will be provided to within 5 feet of the mechanical building.
