ADA Parking Area Remediation Kent County Recreation Center

This Request for Quotes is issued for Kent County Levy Court, Delaware (the County) through the Division of Parks and Recreations, which shall be referred to as the Issuing Office or Division 1. Contractor will provide, demolition, materials, and construction per the provided engineered grading design specifications. The grading design plan specifications are intended to remove and reconstruct the barrier free accessible path within the existing concrete sidewalk and curb to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and to ensure drainage of rainwater in the northern direction per elevations provided on the engineered grading plan. 2. The asphalt parking area shall be restriped with the wheelchair accessible symbol per the van accessible handicapped parking layout provided on the engineered plan. 3. Materials must be new-from-factory, unused and the manufacturer's current production model. Materials must be of sufficient quality, and workmanship to provide superior service life and performance. All materials, equipment, parts, or design features, which are necessary to meet the specifications and provide the requested performance are requirements of the vendor. 4. All required construction permits and scheduling of construction inspections are the responsibility of the chosen contractor.
