Office Carpet, Trim and Paint

1. Work on this project shall be completed by technicians with at least 3 years of experience. 2. Carpet – Existing carpet shall be removed, and old carpet adhesive scraped from existing concrete floor. Floor shall then be prepared for new carpet tiles. a. New carpet shall be Milliken Southern Analog Panoramic PA117 Vignette. New black vinyl trim shall be installed. b. All carpet tile seams shall be square and seamless (no gaps in carpet tiles). Tile shall be placed in and alternating 90 degree/quarter turn pattern. Carpet tiles shall lay flat on the floor. Vinyl trim shall be glued to the wall without puckering or waviness. Carpet tiles shall not have gaps or puckers or waviness to them. Seams of the carpet tiles shall be spaced evenly and esthetically pleasing to the eye. No tiles “out of place”. 3. Paint - Walls shall be prepped (nail holes filled if needed). a. Walls shall be painted with two coats of Sherwin-Williams #703906. b. Receptacle and switch covers shall be removed prior to painting and reinstalled when dried. c. Dry erase and bulletin boards may remain wall mounted and painted around. d. Paint shall not overlap on to unpainted surface. If so, it shall be cleaned up. No paint to be on the frames of windows, dry erase 2 boards or bulletin boards. No paint to be on the carpet or vinyl trim. 4. Contractor will communicate with Technical Point of Contact to determine work completion when carpet has been installed and painting has been completed. 5. Contractor’s bid shall include three local references for carpet and painting work completed in the past 5 years.
