Description

The overall scope of the project is to prepare and paint the designated exterior surfaces of the building. Details: - Inspect surfaces to determine any work that is necessary above and beyond this outlined scope of work - Remove and dispose of three decorative squares along upper portion of the front of the building - Patch holes, cracks, or any damaged areas as needed - Chemically treat surfaces that are glossy, chalky, rusty, moldy, or that have mildew to provide a good surface for painting - Remove loose peeling paint by hand scraping, wire brushing, or hand sanding - Power wash all surfaces to be painted to clean and remove loose paint - Re-set or replace loose or popped nails as needed - Cover surfaces, including but not limited to "Pho 501" business sign and mailboxes, as needed to protect them from paint and primer, drips, splatters, and spots - Apply a full coat of primer to all surfaces to be painted, only excluding metal surfaces to be painted with paint that does not require a primer - Apply paint to designated surfaces (see renderings) - Different specified colors on trim and sidewalls (see renderings) - Use paint appropriate for metal on awning, electrical conduit, gutters and downspouts, and any other metal surfaces - Use paint appropriate for concrete on doorsteps - Clean up and remove any debris and replace any removed objects - Inspect finished job with customer and correct any items of concern Included for Painting: - Front (east side) of building, including exterior of awning, upper three-headed lighting fixture, window sills, window casing, door frames, doors, front and top edge of doorsteps, awning supports - Right (north side) of building, including window sills - Left (south side) of building - upper section only - Electrical conduit -Gutters and downspouts
