Description

Woodcock Creek Lake Paving The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District (USACE-Pittsburgh), has a requirement for the repaving of the roads and parking area at Woodcock Creek Lake Visitors Center, 22079 State Route 198, Saegertown, PA 16433-0629. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all supplies, materials, equipment and labor as necessary to complete the work as specified herein. The work consists of, milling existing pavement as needed, placing an overlay of bituminous wearing course over existing asphalt, and areas of leveling course to fill existing potholes and ruts. The Contractor shall also restripe the parking lot stall markings and replace the parking bumpers for the parking lot. An awardable option is contemplated for the milling and overlay of the parking stalls of the parking lot. Woodcock Creek Lake is located in Crawford County, PA. The site of the work may be reached from state and local roads and streets. The work shall be completed within 365 calendar days after written Notice to Proceed. The Magnitude of the proposed work is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This acquisition will be procured as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The anticipated resultant award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract. All responsible vendors are encouraged to participate. Requests for hard copies of the solicitation will not be honored. Vendors MUST be registered and in active status in the System for Award Management (SAM) BEFORE submitting a quote on this Solicitation. Registration Link: https://www.sam.gov There is no fee to register or renew registration at SAM.gov. Please be aware that SAM requires a Notarized Statement as part of their registration and renewal process. This process could take more than ten (10) days. The NAICS for this requirement is 238990 - "Asphalt paving contractors" and the small business size standard is $16.5 Million. VENDORS WHO HAVE NOT PREVIOUSLY CONDUCTED BUSINESS WITH USACE-PITTSBURGH: A powerpoint slide presentation is available which will provide information essential to new contractors to help them navigate the USACE-Pittsburgh quoting process. It will also aid vendors in their decision as to whether or not to quote, as it contains information on what will be required post-award, should an award be made. This includes but is not limited to submittals, timelines, deadlines and milestones, and other necessary paperwork that is required on the part of the vendor. This training is NOT mandatory in order for a particular quote to be considered. Rather, it is solely intended as a means to assist prospective vendors in becoming better prepared to work with USACE-Pittsburgh.
