Pressure Washing & Maintenance

To be used on concrete, siding or other locations directed by MDHA Staff. Contractor to use a cleaning compound to areas being pressure washed. Contractor can use any non-toxic cleaning compound desired as long as the cleaning compound does not cause fading or discoloration of paint on buildings and as long as the material is safe to use around the contractor’s employees and all property occupants. The contractor can use heated or non-heated water as preferred by the Contractor however; the method for removal cannot damage the existing structure or gouge out the finished materials used to clad the exterior of the buildings or structures. Any damage to areas being pressure washed by the Contractor, the Contractor will be responsible for the repair or replacement of said damaged areas. The measurement will be taken of the surface area for pressure washing and must be verified by the Maintenance Supervisor prior to starting work.
