Return Activated Sludge Discharge Piping Replacement at Plant No. 1

The Orange County Sanitation District (OC SAN) invites qualified Bidders to submit Bids for the RETURN ACTIVATED SLUDGE DISCHARGE PIPING REPLACEMENT AT PLANT NO. 1 Project. The project will replace approximately 600 feet of existing 30-inch steel discharge piping, valves, flexible couplings, and pipe supports in two aeration basins, and will install two permanent bypass risers on existing RAS piping This Project requires the following classification of Contractor s License: "A". The Invitation For Bid Documents may be viewed and downloaded through OC SAN s Vendor Portal at. Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22300, Bidders may substitute approved securities to ensure performance under the Contract. The Project is subject to prevailing wage laws and requirements. Copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages, as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations, applicable to the locality in which the Work is to be performed are on file at OC SAN s principal office and are available upon request or can be obtained online All contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified to perform public work under Labor Code section 1725.5 to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal for, or perform work on the Project. The Project shall be subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1771.4. The Project is located at AS1 RAS pump station (Plant No. 1 at 10844 Ellis Avenue, Fountain Valley, CA 92708).
